The house at Bella Nido was built in 1905 on a 2000 acre ranch where the Alfred Elsner family grew cotton and raised cattle, sheep and goats. Now on two of those acres, the beautifully restored house has all the warmth and character that comes from more than a century of hard working Texans making this special place in the Hill Country home.
The Barn at Bella Nido is a Hill Country classic. Built to last, the barn has stood the test of time as generations of Hill Country neighbors have loved this simple, stately rock barn.
We enjoy sharing this Hill Country treasure with really wonderful people. Our guests enjoy Bella Nido for the same reasons we were so consumed with making this happen. This place was special long before we arrived.....we hope to have you come stay and be a part of a long and continuing history.
The living room at Bella Nido is a relaxed, comfortable shared space, perfect for reading or a late night conversation after a full day of fun in the Texas Hill Country.
The side door opens into the kitchen which is directly off the dining room. This is a fun spot where the day begins and lively conversations are shared.
"Our stay was very comfortable and the owners made us feel right at home. We got a taste of living in the country but with 4 star amenities and still close to everything. We drank our morning coffee on a balcony overlooking a field with Longhorn cattle...it was great! Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable with upscale linens. I highly recommend staying here."
"The owners Ann and Andrew made us feel very welcome and comfortable from the moment we showed up. They were courteous and friendly. The breakfast that they prepared was extraordinary and I do not think any of the several guests staying there necessarily had the same thing...the owners prepared something different for each while we visited."
The place is outside of Austin a ways, so perhaps not perfect for someone who has to be in close, but it was very convenient for us as we visited family in the Dripping Springs area. Its seclusion was real plus."
"Gracious Inn Keepers. Everything was very clean and the breakfast was excellent! There is a brewery next door which is also worth the visit. Would definitely recommend." BedandBreakfast.com
"Recently we had family visiting and wanted a relaxing, comfortable place for the them to stay. We found that at Bella Nido and much more. This house is really beautifully appointed, the accommodations are very comfortable, the food is wonderful and Ann and Andrew are perfect hosts. Our family thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Lots of porch area for everyone too! Thanks for making a wonderful visit even better. See you again soon...." BedandBreakfast.com
"My fiancee and I traveled to the hill country area to take engagement pictures. We stayed at Bella Nido and loved it. The house itself is quite charming, a home away from home. Our room (which is the exact one pictured in the thumbnail) was very clean and comfortable and the common areas such as the living room and especially the outdoor porches enhance your stay. The breakfast was generous and we ate it on the outdoor patio, where we were delighted to observe longhorned cows grazing on the range in the neighbouring property. As for the owners, Ann and Andrew, we could not have found more welcoming hosts. They treated us like family and extended to us every courtesy. They really went over and beyond our expectations to accommodate us. Highly recommend staying here and we will return." Tripadvisor.com
